PlayOn becomes AToM as Scientific Games boosts cashless offering

Push Gaming has gained access to key strategic operators via its agreement to team-up with Scientific Games.

Scientific Games is all set to provide the AToM cashless tables game solution to operators in an array of global jurisdictions, after the firm finalised the purchase of ACS PlayOn.

The renamed AToM product line, which stands for Access To On Demand Money, looks to provide players with a seamless debit solution at live table games by allowing them access funds without having to leave their seats.

In addition, there are no back-end or out-of-network transaction fees charged by the player’s financial institution. To access funds, players simply swipe their debit card and enter their PIN.

The system is currently live on 650 table games at over 20 properties across North America, including venues in California and New Mexico, as well as Nevada’s Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Palace Station Hotel and Casino and Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. AToM is also approved for use in New Jersey.

The solution augments the company’s existing suite of cashless products, including its Unified Wallet, which lets players digitally access funds to play EGMs and tables through the use of a mobile app.

Unified Wallet features fund transfers in and out of the EGM, as well as loyalty club registration and access. AToM will provide an additional cashless solution for players to access funds and continue play at live table games.

“We are thrilled to offer AToM, it’s unbelievably simple, intuitive and offers a great convenience for players,” noted Roger Snow, senior vice president of global table games at Scientific Games.

“The AToM solution is fast and reliable, and we’re excited to add even more features to this product in the future.”

The becomes the latest in an array of strategic acquisitions made by Scientific Games, with the group recently placing a focus upon strengthening its igaming content offering and production capabilities.

This has seen the company purchase Elk Studios, Authentic Gaming, and Lightning Box, during recent times.
