AvatarUX has rolled out a licensing agreement with Stakelogic, which will see the online casino games developer gain the exclusive rights to the PopWins mechanic.

The partnership, which commenced with a six month period of exclusivity, will see Stakelogic incorporate the mechanic into their own games, with two titles already confirmed in MysteryDrop and their new title JokerDrop.

AvatarUX’s PopWins sees winning symbols ‘pop’ and two more take their place, with reels expanding both in base game and free spins, creating an enhanced win potential for players.

Olga Bajela, CCO at Stakelogic, said: “We pride ourselves in offering our operator partners cutting-edge products and with the PopWins mechanic, we can further enhance our offering.

“Everyone who loves slots knows that the PopWins collection is innovative and unique and we are excited to offer it to our partners via our own games.”

The mechanic has been incorporated in eight AvatarUX titles, including CherryPop and TikiPop, as well as the group’s latest game PiggyPop which is planned for a global release on November 29.

Marcus Honney, managing director at AvatarUX, added: “Our PopWins collection has been a great success for us and the games are performing extremely well with players, so we are thrilled to give the trademark rights to Stakelogic. We are certain Stakelogic’s titles featuring the mechanic will be huge hits with operators and players alike.”

Last month, in discussion with CasinoBeats, Honney delved into the original concept behind PopWins, the impact it had on the players’ experience and how it propelled the company’s growth.

“PopWins is part of our brand identity, our competitive advantage and what, ultimately, defines AvatarUX,” he stated.

“We wouldn’t be where we are now without the PopWins mechanic. With exception to Lilith’s Inferno all our games are built with it.

“Of course, the concept has evolved in the different games and we have added to it; but this is in the core of our games and we will continue building on and evolving it to continue offering thrilling experiences to players.”
