Pragmatic Play has been granted its A1 supplier license by the Hellenic Gambling Commission, marking a crucial milestone for the company.

Igaming content provider Pragmatic Play has been granted its A1 supplier license by the Hellenic Gambling Commission, marking a crucial milestone for the company in the Greek market.

With the new license, the group will now be able to continue delivering its slots and live casino titles to the Greek market under the new regulations.

Furthermore, Greek players will be able to access titles including Fruit Party 2, Sweet Bonanza and Wolf Gold, while also sampling new releases such as YumYum Powerways and Chilli Heat Megaways.

After already forming partnerships with Kaizen Gaming and Novibet’s Greek operation, the new licence is set to further strengthen the provider’s position in the Greek market.

“We are thrilled to take a crucial step into the Greek market by being granted this A1 Licence,” commented Sheriff Khamoura, director of compliance at Pragmatic Play.

“This is a great opportunity for us to continue delivering our expanding product offering to Greek operators.”

Last month, Bhotesh Maheshwari, VP of strategy and operations at Pragmatic Play, discussed the importance of gamification in the igaming vertical, and how the firm’s drops & wins promotions have allowed it to break new ground in both slots and live casino.

“It’s no secret that just having a good slot offering isn’t going to cut it anymore, and what really sets apart incredible suppliers from the masses is the extras,” he begins.

“One major development in recent years has been the advancement of gamification tools, a collection of player engagement solutions that can add to any game session without detracting from the actual gameplay.”
