Pragmatic Play has lauded a “landmark moment” for the igaming content provider, after having “proven its commitment to meeting the highest technological standards” by receiving its ISO 27001 certification.

The ISO/IEC 27001 certification provides requirements for an information security management system, allowing organisations to manage the security of assets.

This provides recognition of Pragmatic Play’s approach to security and compliance across the whole business, as well as enabling further assurance to the supplier’s clients about its approach to information security and data, while also creating new opportunities for Pragmatic Play throughout regulated markets.

Andrey Zhelo, head of information security at Pragmatic Play, said: “We’re extremely proud of our approach to data and information security and it’s a landmark moment for us as we receive our ISO 27001 certificate.

“Receiving this certification not only proves we’re committed to upholding the highest level of security as an organisation, but that our partners can be reassured our business practices are held to the highest possible standard.”

This latest development is said to mark “yet another exciting development” for Pragmatic Play, with the supplier continuing to expand in jurisdictions all over the globe.

ISO/IEC 27001 certification follows an array of distribution deals entered into by the group in recent weeks, with July seeing commercial tie-ups secured alongside Luckia, Coolbet, Princess Casino, 32Red, and Rahisibet.

Earlier this month, the group extended its ongoing collaboration with Codere to enter Colombia and Spain alongside the operator, strengthening an existing relationship between the two which currently sees the supplier providing games to the group’s customers in Mexico.
