Entertainment resorts developer Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment enhances its online presence with the launch of Mohegan Digital.
As part of the launch, the igaming division of the integrated entertainment resorts developer will provide online gaming solutions to Mohegan’s fan base whilst growing the business to meet the requirements of new customers.
“We’ve consistently seen strong growth in digital gaming across our properties, especially in this past year, and as legal sports betting continues to expand in the US, the timing was right for us to launch Mohegan Digital,” said recently appointed president and CEO of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, Ray Pineault.
“Over the years, Mohegan has made great technological advancements in the digital space, working with industry-leading partners to provide state-of-the-art advancements to casino and sportsbook online operations.
“With Mohegan Digital, we are looking to expand and enhance these efforts to elevate the experience and deliver on our promise to provide world-class entertainment for our guests on a digital scale.”
As a priority, Mohegan Digital is creating an igaming experience for its flagship property, Mohegan Sun Connecticut, after the state signed a bill legalising sports wagering and online gaming. MGE has appointed Rich Roberts as president and Aviram Alroy as vice president product to lead these efforts and oversee digital operations.
Bringing a wealth of experience, Roberts will oversee the operations of igaming and sports betting digital experience for Mogegan. In his role, Roberts will work closely with the executive team to create and bring industry IP’s into the digital world to Mohegan’s audience of current gaming and future igaming customers around the globe.
