Classic, much-loved slot titles can have just as much scope for creativity as some of the more modern and newfangled creations – a theory that BGaming is hoping to convince fellow developers and slot players of at the upcoming CasinoBeats Slots Festival.

The event, which will bring together representatives from igaming operators, content aggregators and leading affiliates on May 11 to try new and previously unreleased titles, promises to be one of the highlights of the 2021 igaming calendar.

Claudio Stagno, head of sales at BGaming, previewed the festival with CasinoBeats, discussing the range of titles that the games provider will have on display at the second edition of the event.

“We will be showcasing our recent games which, thanks to our amazing team, have created very successful games like Elvis Frog in Vegas – the most popular title in our lineup,” Stagno began. “The game includes Jackpots and other lavish features accomplished with an eye-catching design. Fruit Million is the chameleon-style slot changing its skin for every holiday!

“We would like to show that classics can be innovative too. During the streaming session, you will see the Hit the Route slot. It is a story about travel through the legendary Route 66. The game has a very intriguing Mystery Wild feature giving amazing opportunities for explosive winnings!”

Nevertheless, looking to the future, he disclosed that BGaming is looking to invest further in new technologies, as the world of streaming begins to seep its way into slots and continues to grow the market.

“Streamers are something we have been looking for some time and in fact, we are looking to recruit a new addition to our team who will be purely focusing on the streaming community.

“We believe that the streaming community is doing a fantastic job by showcasing the various slots on the market while explaining how the slots work and giving the players an opportunity to understand and choose the right slot to play.

“In the near future we will build a strong relationship with the streaming community to highlight the amazing work our team (who are never in the limelight) are doing by creating great online casino games.”

Touching on the impact of the pandemic, Stagno added: “Digital events have given us a more diverse audience which, in the physical events, some people from other departments do not attend so this way we are targeting other parts of the industry but also we learn how these companies operate and how our games can add value to their casino offerings.”

He concluded: “This year, as everyone knows, offered various challenges to all the industries but the gaming industry continued to grow, and most of the operators are highlighting the need of a responsible gaming industry.

“Some changes that authorities issued like maximum bets, I believe, will keep after the pandemic but I believe this year we will continue to showcase that importance of offering a safe haven for players to play, but also the amazing games being launched by various providers.

“As for BGaming, 2021 is an exciting year as we continue to grow not only as a team but our games will be launched in other regulated markets.”
