Online gaming and entertainment operator 888 has struck a distribution deal with Malta-based online casino games provider Hacksaw Gaming, which will be facilitated through the Pariplay Fusion platform.

The group cites the continuous aim of striving to “achieve innovation with every product” as a key facet to the alliance, as 888 follows prior agreements inked thus far in 2021 alongside Casumo and BetVictor.

Marcus Cordes, COO at Hacksaw Gaming, commented: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a leading online betting and gaming operator which will allow us expand our reach by showcasing our casino content to 888 players.

“We are confident that this partnership will grow over the next year and look forward to a successful launch this week. “

The partnership will see 888 host a selection of the suppliers’ titles via its 888casino portal, which will include player favourites such as Chaos Crew, Mystery Motel, Scratch Bronze and Scratch Platinum.

Talya Benyamini, VP of B2C casino at 888, commented: “We are excited to be partnering with Hacksaw Gaming to strengthen our product offering for our casino customers.

“Hacksaw’s exciting titles will add to our existing diverse portfolio of casino games, helping us continue our commitment in delivering an entertaining and varied gaming experience for our players within a safe and secure environment. I look forward to building on this partnership.”

888 last month saw a series of digital gains come amid what was praised as a “landmark year” by the group, with the digital gambling company scoring revenue of $849.7m, a 51.6 per cent increase from the prior year’s $560.3m.

The B2C business, made up of casino, sports, poker, and bingo, rose 53.5 per cent to $814.3m (2019: $530.5m), with first-time depositors up 42 per cent.

Casino took the lion’s share, increasing 63.3 per cent to $586.8m (2019: $359.3m), which 888 puts down to the result of added investment, which brought an enhanced suite of content.
