Boston, Massachusetts headquartered DraftKings has appointed baseball legend and entrepreneur Cal Ripken Jr as a special advisor to its board of directors.

Here, he will be tasked with providing insights to the board and CEO on key company initiatives such as company strategy, product development, and marketing activities. Ripken Jr will also become a DraftKings equity holder.

ReelPlay

Mark Crocker has been appointed as chief operating officer of Sydney based online gaming studio ReelPlay, becoming the group’s second recent senior hire.

Crocker joins the business as COO after successful periods in senior operational roles at NextGen Gaming, SG Digital and Animal Logic.

Industry multi-channel platform and systems provider Digitain has promoted Simon Westbury to the position of chief business officer.
