Yggdrasil

Entry into Hungary has been secured by Yggdrasil, who asserts that it is focused on achieving an expanded regulated market reach throughout 2021, after striking a distribution deal with land-based operator CasinoWin.

The collaboration will give customers access to Yggdrasil’s proprietary portfolio of slots content, as well as titles from the group’s burgeoning YG Masters program portfolio.

“Yggdrasil’s content is known for its high quality and exciting game play and the slots portfolio is extremely diverse, offering something for all player types,” noted Zsolt Kruppa, managing director at CasinoWin

“We are thrilled to be the first operator in the country to offer their titles and we are sure the content will be a hit with our customers.”

The market entry is lauded as “an important step” for Yggdrasil as it sets out to further expand its reach in regulated markets in 2021. The Hungarian market entry comes just a month after the firm announced its debut into the Swiss market.

This came alongside operator Grand Casino Luzern and its mycasino.ch brand, whose players gained Yggdrasil’s range of slots content, including, Syncronite Splitz, Hades Giglablox, Hyperburst, and Valley of the Gods 2, as well as YG Masters titles.

CasinoWin is a land-based casino brand in Hungary, and one of only 11 domestic operators permitted to offer online casino games in the country.

Björn Krantz, chief of global market operations at Yggdrasil, added: “We are focused on further expanding our reach in regulated markets this year and providing our thrilling content to even more players.

“Entering Hungary is a great achievement for Yggdrasil and CasinoWin is a well-known and respected brand in the market, making them a perfect partner. We are excited to introduce our content to its growing player base.”
