NetEnt

NetEnt has continued to deepen its presence in the burgeoning US igaming market, after documenting its entry into Michigan upon launch of the state’s online gaming and sports betting market.

Launched under the supervision of the Michigan Gaming Control Board on Friday 22 January, a number of entities debuted after gaining the relevant approvals from the regulator.

Included among these were BetRivers, BetMGM, TwinSpires, DraftKings, FanDuel, Golden Nugget, William Hill and WynnBet, all of which display online casino titles from the igaming supplier, which now forms a part of the Evolution Group.

“Friday’s successful launch with multiple operators is the result of months of planning for Michigan’s go-live and years of on-the-ground experience in the US,” said Jeff Millar, Evolution commercial director for North America.

“America is an absolute priority market for Evolution Group, which is reflected by the scale of NetEnt’s first-day presence in Michigan.”

Among the titles readily available to players in the Great Lakes State are Starburst, Blackjack and Divine Fortune, which are also live in the regulated states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

NetEnt has been live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia since 2015, 2019, and 2020, respectively, with Evolution planning to bolster its presence via a live casino broadcast studio in Michigan, its third in the US after New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and eleventh globally.

“We are poised to add more operators in all US markets during 2021 and have a roadmap of high-profile game launches,” added Millar.

“And, as we’ve once again shown, we’re ready for new markets being switched on and partnering casinos to offer a standout product to their players the minute they go live.”
