Penn National Gaming has outlined a trio of retail sports betting debuts in Michigan and Indiana, with Greektown Casino Hotel, Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg, and Ameristar East Chicago Casino & Hotel, to introduce the entities today (Wednesday 23 December).

In the former of those, located on the second floor and adjacent to the table games area, patrons can access numerous sports betting kiosks and ticket writer stations that will support thousands of sports wagering options.

“We are thrilled to be opening our new Barstool Sportsbook,” said John Drake, vice president and general manager at Greektown Casino. “The new design showcases the spirit of the Barstool Sports brand, resulting in an outstanding sports wagering experience that we expect our customers will thoroughly enjoy.

“The passionate sports fans in Detroit and throughout Michigan have been excitedly awaiting the opening of our new Barstool Sportsbook. We look forward to welcoming them when we reopen the casino tomorrow evening.”

PNG has also rebranded existing sportsbooks at its Hollywood Lawrenceburg and Ameristar East Chicago, with each Barstool sportsbook featuring a sports viewing area, redesigned dining space, betting counter that features large odds boards, numerous sports betting kiosks and ticket writer stations.

In all three sports wagering venues guests will also be able to earn tier points and mycash using the company’s myChoice loyalty program when placing bets.

“We are very excited to be opening our newly branded Barstool Sportsbooks,” said Rafael Verde, senior vice president of regional operations for PNG. “The new designs incorporate the spirit of the Barstool Sports brand, resulting in unique sports wagering and dining experiences that we expect our customers will thoroughly enjoy.

“Hollywood Lawrenceburg and Ameristar East Chicago have been offering sports wagering in Indiana for well over a year. The passionate sports fans in the Tri State area and Chicagoland have been eagerly awaiting the opening of our new Barstool Sportsbooks, and we look forward to introducing both in the coming days.”
