Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

BetMGM has unveiled the launch of Evolution’s igaming suite in Pennsylvania, just days after the MGM Resorts International and Entain joint venture debuted its casino entity in the state.

Pennsylvania becomes the second state to gain access to Evolution’s live casino game offering through BetMGM Casino, after the pair inked a US-wide agreement earlier in the year.

Initially the agreement saw a number of Evolution’s live table games, as well as game show-style games, being made available to customers of BetMGM, and sister brands Borgata Online and Party Casino, from the group’s live casino studio in New Jersey.

“We are delighted to see BetMGM live with our live casino offering in Pennsylvania and we very much look forward to supporting the continued growth of BetMGM’s casino offering across the US,” said Johan Nordstrom, chief executive officer Malta and chief commercial officer at Evolution.

As a result of the latest roll-out, BetMGM Casino in the Keystone state will gain a range of live casino games, including multiple variations of blackjack and roulette, with many more becoming available over the coming months.

The launch of BetMGM in Pennsylvania is said to lay the foundation for the debut of BetMGM’s sports betting offering, which will be available statewide in the coming weeks, pending necessary regulatory approvals.

“We’re excited to deliver a world-class live casino gaming experience to our players in Pennsylvania through our partnership with Evolution,” said Matthew Sunderland, vice president of gaming at BetMGM

“We’ve seen great successes with our live offering in New Jersey and are expecting similarly strong results in Pennsylvania, as we establish BetMGM Casino’s presence in the state.”
