As the state’s fiscal year came to a close, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board published a record figure for yearly tax revenue - standing at over $2.3bn for 2022/2023.

BetMGM has followed up its agreement with NFL franchise the Pittsburgh Steelers, which saw the platform become the first gaming partner of the side, by announcing the launch of its casino entity in Pennsylvania.

Bringing the company’s portfolio of online slots and table games to players in the Keystone State, the move lays the foundation for the launch of BetMGM’s sports betting offering, which will be available state wide in the coming weeks, pending necessary regulatory approvals.

Available for download on both iOS and Android, as well as accessible via desktop, with players able to access an array of slot tournaments, progressive jackpots exclusive to Pennsylvania, blackjack, roulette, and video poker, among other casino and slot games.

BetMGM’s integration with MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program allows BetMGM customers in Pennsylvania to redeem their gameplay for experiences at a selection of properties nationwide, such as Bellagio and MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, and MGM National Harbor in Maryland.

“We’re thrilled to bring BetMGM’s online casino offering to Pennsylvania,” noted BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt. “With more than 140 different games, including our own in-house progressive jackpot network, we’re delivering the widest range of content currently available in the state.

“Alongside MGM Resorts and its M life Rewards program, BetMGM will provide players with a truly unique entertainment experience.”

BetMGM’s Steelers partnership is to feature fan-focused assets such as presenting sponsorship of the Steelers Kickoff pregame show, as well as team broadcast programming, digital marketing assets, and in-stadium promotions and signage.

As a gaming partner of the Heinz Field-based side, BetMGM will have full use of Steelers marks and logos in communications across marketing, product, social media and digital properties. Furthermore, BetMGM will also become an ‘Official Sports Betting Partner’ of the Steelers once their online sports betting product launches later this year.
