Asian online casino and sports betting operator RB88 has recruited Dimitar Berbatov as a brand ambassador, as the firm targets international representation with a responsible gaming focus.

Striving to break new ground with the recruitment, Berbatov has been recruited as the flagship spokesman for the firm in an agreement that will continue until the end of 2022.

During an extensive football career, Berbatov, Bulgaria’s all-time leading goalscorer, represented a plethora of European sides, including Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham and Manchester United.

In addition to boasting a career at an array of top clubs, Berbatov also served as captain of the Bulgarian national team and was named his country’s player of the year three times in 2002, 2004 and 2005.
