Gaming Innovation Group has secured a vendor registration for its flagship affiliate site WSN.com, from the Sports Wagering Committee of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation in The Volunteer State.

GiG’s vendor registration in Tennessee is the latest authorisation to be added to its list of similar registrations and licences in the US, strengthening its GIG Media business.

“This enables GiG Media to expand its presence in the United States, reflecting its continuous ambition to be an influential player within the US market,” the firm asserted in a media release.

GiG Media is now present in nine US states through its flagship US-facing sports betting website World Sports Network, with New Jersey, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Iowa, Colorado, Illinois, and Nevada all coming before Tennessee.

Furthermore, the firm’s igaming guide Casino Tops Online also boasts licences in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as GiG aims to deliver on the intent of having a diverse market approach.

Jonas Warrer, managing director of GiG Media, commented: “This is an exciting time for GiG Media, we are delighted to strengthen our position in the US with this licence approval in Tennessee.

“World Sports Network continues to gain momentum in the US market and having a presence in Tennessee provides us with a fantastic opportunity to help our partners convert more visitors into key players.”

GiG was granted its first affiliate vendor registration in January 2019 for the state of New Jersey. This was followed in December of the same year by a certificate of registration for sports wagering in Indiana.

This year the firm has secured a service provider authorisation from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to provide affiliate services in the Keystone State and was granted a sports betting licence in Colorado.  It was also granted a sports wagering supplier interim licence in West Virginia.
