Hard Rock selects Scientific Games for US igaming and sports betting growth

Push Gaming has gained access to key strategic operators via its agreement to team-up with Scientific Games.

Hard Rock International has selected Scientific Games’ digital and retail solutions to lead its igaming and sports betting expansion, after the firm mutually terminated a platform and sportsbook services collaboration with Gaming Innovation Group.

Already a long-term partner of the US gaming technology firm, Hard Rock is to receive Scientific Games’ OpenSports and OpenGaming solutions across regulated markets in the US.

Kresimir Spajic, SVP of online gaming and sports betting at HRI, explained: “We wanted to take our offering to the next level and Scientific Games and its product offering fit the bill perfectly.

“The company’s sports betting technology is second to none, while the launch of OpenGaming in New Jersey allows us to expand our already strong casino offering in the state.

“These are exciting times for Hard Rock International as we bring even more entertaining experiences to our loyal customer base.”

First off, Scientific Games will deploy its OpenSports digital and retail solutions for HRI in Iowa and New Jersey. The company will also become the exclusive provider of sportsbooks operating under the Hard Rock brand across the agreed states.

OpenGaming will also power HRI’s Hard Rock casino apps and HardRockCasino.com in the Garden State, with the solution also delivering the player account platform across all HRI digital solutions in the aforementioned two states.

Jordan Levin, group CEO of digital for Scientific Games, commented: “The Hard Rock brand is instantly recognisable on a global scale and to extend our partnership with them once again is testament to our product development capabilities across igaming and sports in the US.

“As the digital team of Scientific Games, we have deep expertise across igaming and sports and we’re looking forward to working with the great team at Hard Rock.”
