Online casino development firm ReelNRG has bolstered its igaming reach after entering an agreement with gaming and entertainment solutions provider 888 Holdings.

As a result of the partnership the 888 Casino is to become the latest operator to offer the ReelNRG suite of slots content, set to see “a wide selection of both new and favourite online slots launch over the next quarter”.

Calvin Kent, ReelNRG CEO, said he was thrilled to see the firm’s games go live with 888 Casino and felt this was an ideal platform to bring their games to more players: “888casino has long been an iconic name in the gaming industry, and ReelNRG is thrilled to be launching with them.

“They’re known for their high-quality content and superior player experience, and I strongly believe our growing portfolio of high-quality games will make a fantastic and new addition for their player base. We’re excited to work closely together with 888casino and are looking forward to this next chapter in our journey.”

The link-up is to first see content launch in the United Kingdom and Spanish markets where a smattering of “popular slots” from the provider’s portfolio will debut.

Guy Cohen, 888 Holdings SVP B2C, commented on a welcome addition to the operator’s offering: “With a great variety of features, themes and mechanics, ReelNRG’s growing portfolio is one we believe will make a popular addition to the 888casino lobby. 888 offers its customer a high-quality casino experience through a wide portfolio of games and ReelNRG slots adds to this experience.”

Last month 888 Holdings pledged increased commitment and activity towards safer gambling, with continuous improvements to be felt across three core areas.

This comes as the company delivers a financial report for the period ending December 31, 2019, which saw a 58.3 per cent drop pre-tax profit to $45.3m (2018: $108.7m) despite group record revenue of $560.3m (2018: $529.9m).
