Andrew Crosby: Megaways licence brings real igaming innovation

Relax Gaming has recently been given a Megaways licence to introduce into their games, with their long-standing slot title, Temple Tumble, being chosen to debut the mechanic.

The Malta-based online gaming platform provider’s director of account management, Andrew Crosby, talked to Big Time Gaming TV regarding the introduction of Megaways to the title.

Temple Tumble, the first in a series of three similarly themed games, has been a consistent top-performer since its launch, maintaining a high number of rounds per active player and impressive game win performance indicators.

Talking to Big Time Gaming TV, Crosby was asked why it was considered key to secure the licence approval: “The Megaways licence brings real innovation to the mechanics of the game and also what it allowed us to do was add the license into our own Relax content, but also into our Silver Bullet partners, so they can actually tap into the Megaways sites as well.”

The news comes after it was announced today that Relax Gaming and Wildz Casino agreed to a partnership to run a multi-million-euro promotion, with players being given free spins on Temple Tumble.

Asked what makes Megaways games stand out from the crowd, Crosby added: “I think with the Megaways mechanic a lot of people have actually been using it in a very similar way.

“With Temple Tumble Megaways at Relax Gaming, we actually used it in a totally different way so most people didn’t see it as a Megaways game as soon as they saw it, once they understood and saw the Megaways license on the game then they really enjoyed the game and the players have loved it and it’s still our number one performing game.”

Even more players will be able to enjoy this new Megaways feature after Relax Gaming rolled-out their new partnership with Global Gaming. This deal will see the firm launch its entire portfolio of proprietary and third-party slot games with the operators flagship brand Ninja Casino.

Under the terms of the agreement Relax’s in-house content, including Temple Tumble, will be made available, as well as upcoming releases from its growing catalogue of slots.
