MGM inks Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium partnerships

MGM Resorts International is the latest firm to become aligned with the Las Vegas Raiders and its new Allegiant Stadium home, after the NFL franchise officially relocated and rebranded earlier this week.

Dropping the Oakland name which it has adopted twice, either side of 13 year stay in Los Angeles, the Raiders announced the arrival alongside Navada’s Governor Steve Sisolak and proclaimed the January 22 as Las Vegas Raiders day.

The new agreement, which follows California’s San Manuel Casino unveiling its own partnership last year, sees MGM become an official gaming partner of the franchise. MGM has also been named a founding partner of the Allegiant Stadium and an official home of the Raiders pre-and post-game party.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with the Raiders and to welcome professional football to Las Vegas,” said MGM Resorts chairman and CEO Jim Murren

“Las Vegas is becoming one of the top sports destinations in the world, and this partnership is a natural fit of culture and vision. Together, we look forward to creating unique and world-class entertainment experiences for our guests and Raiders fans.”

As part of the link-up MGM is to gain prominent signage throughout Allegiant Stadium year-round, including in-stadium branding and naming rights to the west VIP entry and drop off zone.

Furthermore, the MGM Club is to also debut at the stadium, an exclusive experience with a full-service premium bar, luxury lounge and upgraded stadium seating for game-viewing. MGM Resorts will also provide exclusive fan experiences before and after Raiders home games throughout its portfolio of resorts.

“The Raiders are thrilled to welcome MGM Resorts International as our newest founding partner,” explained Marc Badain, Raiders president

“MGM Resorts is an institution in the gaming and hospitality industry and the activations they have planned for Raider games and all events at Allegiant Stadium will bring their best in class expertise to the entertainment experience.”

The pair also stress a commitment to collaborating on community outreach programs benefiting Southern Nevada, with various initiatives to see the Raiders and MGM Resorts continue to give back to the community.
