Genting has announced the completion of a £1.6m refurbishment of its Glasgow-based casino property, incorporating an oriental theme throughout.

Officially detailing the upgrades in October 2019, Genting Casino Glasgow’s renovation came as the operator strived to improve the venues gaming facilities and enhance the overall in casino experience for the customer.

As part of the refurbishment the main gaming area and Mahjong room have been given a full makeover, with a variety of improvements designed to create a more welcoming environment for customers. The casino is situated in a listed building and a number of the original features have also been retained.

Furthermore, an additional gaming room has also been added to the facility with 20 new slot machines and ten electronic gaming terminals introduced. The casino stresses that it intends to continue to invest in this area to ensure that “they are providing customers with the most up to date gaming offering in the city”.

Oriental décor has been added throughout, the casinos three Karaoke rooms have been upgraded and the entity’s Chinese restaurant has been renamed to Jin Mi and significantly updated.
