Jackpot.com, owned and operated by Lottomatrix, has entered into partnership with Playtech that sees its casino and live casino offerings launched in both the UK and Sweden.

The operator stressed that the expanded games offering signals strong growth and diversification in its product offering, with customers now able to access a variety of new content.

Angel Jane Agius, head of CRM Jackpot.com, noted: “We’re delighted to partner with Playtech to bring its industry leading content to our audiences in the UK and Sweden. We look forward to developing this partnership further as we continue to grow our content offering.”

Seeing Playtech become the provider of casino and live casino to the site, the former brings access to the firm’s full line up of branded content, including titles such as Justice League and the Sporting Legends suite, powered by a series of progressive jackpots.

James Frendo, casino director at Playtech, added: “We are pleased that Jackpot.com has chosen Playtech as its casino software partner, highlighting the continued strength of our casino and live casino offering.

“Playtech’s scale and distribution is a powerful offering for potential partners, and this is a great example of our commitment to partnering with the right companies to bring great content to new and growing markets.”

Publishing its year-to-date trading update last month, the gaming technology giant reported that it expects earnings (full-year adjusted EBITDA) to be below expectations.

Playtech said however that the group’s “core business” continues to perform strongly, with the earnings slowdown attributed to TradeTech, for which it anticipates 2019 performance to be “well below management expectations”.

The group said it is continuing with its review of all “non-core” business units as it endeavours to simplify the structure of the business, with Playtech’s casual and social games unit currently is being assessed for a potential sale.
