Playson has demonstrated a “robust approach to compliance” alongside “long-term commitment to operating in regulated markets” after becoming fully compliant and certified to take its gaming content live in the Swedish market.

Stressing that its games are “already proving popular in the territory,” Playson has now successfully completed a security audit following a rigorous testing process across its engineering, integration and product departments.

As a result, the company now complies with the requirements set out by the Spelinspektionen, the Swedish gambling authority.

The Malta-based igaming software and games developer has been certified for a variety of its portfolio of titles, including Book of Gold: Double Chance, Wild Warriors and Rise of Egypt, as well as the top performing titles from its fruit slots series, which are to be available for operators across the regulated market.

Liubomyr Bedratiuk, compliance manager at Playson, commented on how integral the country is to the firm: “Sweden is an important market for us and to have our offering made fully compliant is an important move for the company.

“As an agile provider, we have a strong infrastructure in place that can react quickly to regulatory changes. We are fully committed to working in regulated markets and look forward to consolidating our presence in Sweden over the coming months.”

When the CasinoBeats Summit returns to London in September, it will do so with leading game developer Playson as the event’s premium sponsor.

Set to welcome up to 1,000 delegates to Olympia London on September 17-20, CasinoBeats looks certain to significantly expand on its 2018 debut, and Playson is greatly looking forward to making its first appearance.

Lars Kollind, business development manager at Playson, said: “This will be our first time at the CasinoBeats Summit, and we are very excited to be a part of the event as premium sponsor.
