Las Vegas’s The Statosphere Hotel, Casino and SkyPod has unveiled various new aspects of its updated property as renovations continue.
Set to be completed in 2021 at a total cost of $140m, The Strat has unveiled a new link slot lounge via a new partnership with Aristocrat Technologies, alongside the first phase its new casino remodel.
Named after the popular series by the Australian firm, the link lounge comes complete with 44 games from its successful titles, including Buffalo Grand, Buffalo Diamond, Tarzan, Wonder 4 Spinning Fortunes, Buffalo Golden 7s, Gold Stacks 88 games, Liberty Link, Lighting Link and Dragon Link games
“Less than a month ago, we were celebrating with The Strat when one of their players won nearly $2m on our buffalo grand game. Now we are standing alongside our partners again, this time as they open this extraordinary link lounge,” commented Hector Fernandez, Aristocrat’s Americas president.
“We are thrilled how players have responded to our entertaining Lightning Link and Dragon Link games, and we are honoured to be partners with The Strat, where we hope lightning will strike and dragons will roar for many years. The Strat has been very thoughtful in their reinvestments, and we are excited to be a part of the new Strat.”
The 2,346 square foot lounge is accompanied by the first phase of the Strat’s remodelled casino floor, spanning 10,371 square feet with 236 machines and also revealing property’s new design and branding.
The entire 80,000-square-foot casino, featuring 750 machines and 44 tables, will be fully remodelled by the end of 2019, with further new features including new directional signage, new video walls at check-in and behind the box office, and more.
