Online slots developer Stakelogic has embarked upon a further expansion of its geographical reach, after entering into Romania following the granting of a class two gaming licence by the Romanian National Gambling Office, ONJN.

Under the terms of the licence Stakelogic’s entire suite of slot titles have been certified under Romanian regulations, and are now available to licensed operators in the market, including popular entries such as Book of Adventure and Hot Fruit Deluxe.

Furthermore, Romanian players are to also benefit from a number of features, including a smart progressive jackpot system that has already paid out more than €1 million to players since launching at the back end of last year.

In addition the firm’s quattro system is to also make its debut, allowing individuals to play up to four games at the same time, increasing the maximum stake fourfold and also increasing wagering activity for the player and, ultimately, potential revenue for the operator.

In addition to having its games certified in Romania, Stakelogic also holds permits in Malta and Sweden with plans in place to secure additional licences in the UK, Italy, Spain, Denmark and Portugal later this year.

Stephan van den Oetelaar, CEO of Stakelogic, said of the licence issuance: “This is yet another milestone for us. With our Romania licence in hand we can now offer our operator partners active in the market the latest online gaming products and games that players want to play.”

This is the latest in a number of Romanian market entries, with Gaming Innovation Group and Playson securing an affiliate and class two gaming licence respectively.

Most recently gaming provider Pariplay become the latest firm to target the southeastern European country, with its green-light enabling the B2B entity to supply the regulated market with its portfolio of online casino games via its fusion aggregation platform.
