NagaCorp has released further details of its Naga 3 development taking place at its Cambodia located NagaWorld integrated resort, which the firm stresses will produce “a quality standard set to rival that of the integrated resorts located in Macau”.

Set to become the “biggest riverine integrated resort in the world” via its position overlooking the Mekong River, the $3.5bn construction is to also be linked to the existing Naga 1 and 2 through an underground walkway.

Outlining a vision to ensure Naga 3 becomes a ‘must see’ destination in Asia as well as contributing to business and leisure growth within its home market, an ambition has also been set to establish Naga 3 as increased competition on a worldwide scale and drive increased tourism numbers to Cambodia as a result.

Releasing new details in a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the construction will be set across five hotel towers, that are to contain a combined 4,720 hotel rooms as well as gaming options, an outlet mall, restaurants, spa and conference space, are to be connected via an 11 storey podium.

In its filing, NagaCorp states: “Naga 3, upon completion, will be the largest integrated resort in the country. Set within five modern purpose-built towers, it will complement the existing facilities at Naga 1 and Naga 2, with a quality standard set to rival that of the integrated resorts located in Macau”.

Set to begin work on the plans in September of this year, with a five year timescale stipulated, further attractions to be included are a zip line through a digital landscape as well as a “hi-tech digital theme park”. 

Pencilled in to occupy over 28,000 square metres over three levels, the design is to feature 30 of the latest digital attractions and attract in excess of 1.65m people per year.

The 45 storey towers one and four are to contain 30 storeys of hotel space, two levels of VIP gaming and roof facilities, with towers two and three set at 66 storeys and will include 50 storeys of hotel, a swimming pool, sky deck and a further two levels of VIP gaming areas.

Tower five is pencilled into measure 48 storeys, including a 30 floor condotel, 14 storeys of car parking and two of meeting and event space.

“The Naga 3 Project will showcase a life-style product consisting of gaming and non-gaming spaces and comprise amenities and facilities which are not available at Naga 1 and Naga 2, notably hi-tech virtual reality interactive indoor theme parks, more shopping and MICE facilities and family recreational areas etc. to impart a more satisfying, penetrating and complete visitation experience,” comments NagaCorp.
