Slots and table games provider Habanero has moved to strengthen its executive team, as the organisation lays foundations to target further global expansion.

The organisation has drafted in Vera Motto as business development executive, after departing her previous role as Espresso Games where a distinct focus was placed on the Latin American and Spanish markets.

Arriving with a wealth of experience and knowledge of a variety of markets, as well as press and media relations, in the new role Motto is to continue the Habanero push across various markets in Latin America.

Motto said of the appointment as business development executive: “Habanero are one of igaming’s most respected providers and I am delighted to be part of the team.

“They are working hard to become bigger and better than ever and I am keen to play a huge part in their journey.”

This appointment comes just months after Habanero took on Carlos Carvajal as its new service and operations manager, following spells at both Betfair and William Hill.

At Habanero, Carvajal is prioritised working alongside existing and prospective clients on the product side of the business, while also supporting the firm’s continuing expansion into regulated European markets.

Arcangelo Lonoce, head of business development at Habanero, added: “Habanero prides itself on recruiting some of the industry’s biggest talent and the appointment of Vera Motto certainly proves that.

“She arrives with a wealth of experience and is the perfect addition to our ever-expanding team as we continue to grow and reach more players than ever with our products.”

Last month Habanero has entered into a further content based agreement as it strives to enhance its footprint across Europe.

As a result the latest partnership the firm is to supply its entire portfolio of slot and table games to the Bragg Gaming Group’s online gaming platform and content provider Oryx Gaming.
