Casino games supplier Red Rake Gaming is striving to solidify its European footprint, after entering into an agreement with European online gaming group Betclic.

The latter, which enjoys a strong presence in the Portuguese market, is to help channel Red Rake Gaming’s content to all players on the Betclic platform in Portugal, further solidifying the firm’s position in the regulated region.

Francois Dogon, casino game specialist at Betclic Group, said of the agreement: “We are looking forward to working with Red Rake. Through them, we have access to a variety of leading games content that we think brings an element of quality to our casino offer. We are confident that Red Rake’s games content will have a positive effect on our growth.”

Under the terms of the partnership Betclic is to gain access to Red Rake’s entire game catalogue, which includes titles such as The travels of Marco, Knights, Bonnie and Clyde and its highest grossing game released this year, Super12Stars.

Nick Barr, managing director for Red Rake’s Malta operations, commented on this agreement: “I am extremely pleased to welcome the Betclic Group to the Red Rake Gaming family.

“The brands under the Betclic Group umbrella have been around for many years by offering their players the best of breed in products, and it is terrific to see Red Rake Gaming in this category.

“This partnership also further solidifies our approach towards regulated markets and ensuring we move forward with our clients as they grow. Portugal is fast becoming a significant market for Red Rake Gaming and we look forward to continuing to drive our ever-growing position here.”

Red Rake made its initial Portuguese entry in April of this year, after announcing it would be bringing its “best selection of games” to the nation, following the inking of a new deal alongside “one of Portugal’s leading operators” bet.pt.
