Affiliate network Gambling.com Group has been granted approval to expand its business in the United States, after receiving the green-light to deepen its commitment within New Jersey.

Via the approval, the organisation has been cleared to expand existing commercial agreements alongside online casino, poker and sports betting operators in the Garden State, which also includes components of revenue share, as well as fixed fees and flat fees per referred customer.

This comes after the organisation filed an application for an ancillary casino service industry enterprise license related to the US subsidiary of the Gambling.com Group, KAX Media America, which was subsequently approved by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Lauded as a”major development,” the group is striving to grow market share “in the fastest growing, regulated sports betting and online gaming market in the world.”

Charles Gillespie, CEO of Gambling.com Group, said of this new development:, “At the present moment there is no online gaming market more interesting than New Jersey. The world has been watching the explosive growth in the market since launching sports betting in 2018, and we have been active in the state for over a year.

“This approval allows us to increase our exposure to this lucrative market. Our application for an Ancillary CSIE license should be taken as a clear statement of intent for our big plans in New Jersey.

“It also demonstrates our commitment to working with New Jersey to make the state the model for licensing and regulating affiliates, as more states come online with gaming and sports betting in 2019 and 2020.”

Gambling.com praised the possibilities across of a number of US jurisdictions last month, as a 63 per cent revenue growth was reported in its latest financial results.

Furthermore, the organisation also praised the possibilities Swedish market, and its early going since re-regulation at the beginning of the year.
