Isle of Man-based casino software developer Microgaming has announced a further expansion of its global footprint, after making its debut within the Czech Republic.
Seeing a range of its titles become available through Tipsport, with a selection of further operators set to follow in due course, Microgaming states that it’s entry into the country “continues a well-executed strategy of expansion into key regulated markets around the world”.
This latest manoeuvre follows successful entries made into Colombia, Bulgaria and Denmark last year, which was swiftly followed by Sweden at the beginning of 2019.
Andrew Clucas, chief operating officer at Microgaming, commented: “We are excited to be extending our offering into the regulated market of the Czech Republic. Tipsport are a major operator in the region, and a leader in the European sports betting industry as a whole.

Devised specifically for the Czech Republic market, a tailored software solution will offer customers of Tipsport access to a large selection of titles from its portfolio of casino games, with more content to be added in the near future.

This follows hot on the heels of a deal struck alongside online instant win games provider IWG earlier this month, under the terms of which it vowed to transform a range of Microgaming titles.
Leon Thomas, chief commercial officer at IWG, said at the time of the agreement: “Fans of Microgaming’s slots will now be able to enjoy an enhanced gaming experience, thanks to this new partnership.
“By implementing our proven instant win mechanics into its wide range of games, Microgaming will now be able to target a different player base with this unique concept.”
