Gaming, racing and entertainment firm Churchill Downs Incorporated has aligned with the Golden Nugget Casino in New Jersey, for the launch of its BetAmerica online casino and real-money sports betting platform within the state.

Via its online casino launch CDI is to offer both slot and table games options, featuring brands including IGT PlayDigital, NetEnt, Spin Games, Everi and Konami.

Via its single integrated platform CDi states that it “will deliver a seamless betting experience across our deep library of table games and slots, and our sportsbook”.

This latest sportsbook launch by the organisation builds upon previous BetAmerica brand unveilings at its Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa in Greenville, Mississippi, and Riverwalk Casino Hotel in Vicksburg, Mississippi in August of last year.

Presenting customers with the opportunity to bet on major professional sports including the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB and collegiate sports, it also takes in major events happening all over the world.

Furthermore, CDI is to also provide in-game betting, early cash out options, and enhanced bonuses and products., with the organisation planning “to expand with innovative entertainment offerings and state-of-the-art wagering technology,” as further states begin to legalise the activity.

This launch follows CDI completing its previously announced purchase of Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, Pennsylvania from Eldorado Resorts.

The deal, for a full cash consideration of $178.9m, is subject to certain working capital and other purchase price adjustments.

The acquisition of the Erie property follows the approval of the transaction by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and the Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission.
