1X2 Network given the green light to supply gaming content in Sweden

UK-based supplier 1X2 Network has been given the go-ahead to make its content available to players and operators in Sweden’s regulated igaming market.

The available content is set to include slots and table games from 1X2 Network and its 1x2gaming and Iron Dog Studio subsidiaries. Virtual sports titles from the supplier’s strategic partner Leap Gaming will also be made available across the country.

Kevin Reid, chief commercial officer at 1X2 Network, commented: “We have ambitious plans to enter core regulated markets around the world, and Sweden was a top priority for us.

“We are thrilled to be among the first game developers to provide content to operators in the re-regulated market and look forward to playing a key role as it matures.”

The group joins other big names Bethard, Betsson, LeoVegas and NordicBet, who were among the first cohort of operators to be granted licenses.

Entering the re-regulated Swedish market forms part of the game developer and platform provider’s international expansion plans, 1×2 Network said.

Sweden will be a welcome addition to the supplier’s rapidly growing international portfolio. 1X2 Network has recently been certified in Colombia, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Italy, Malta and the UK with more territories expected to follow later in the year.
