Following receipt of an online gaming licence in Sweden, GVC Holdings has launched two of its leading brands, bwin and partypoker, in the country.

Both brands now offer dedicated .se websites in Sweden, while an Android mobile app is also available and an iOS version set to launch imminently.

GVC said bwin.se will utilise the feature-set and content from the group’s flagship European sports betting brand, offering pre-event and in-play betting on a wide range of sports. Swedish customers will also be able to access GVC’s leading casino offer, offering content from more than 30 third-party games developers as well as titles from by the group’s in-house studio.

The GVC poker offer will be led by partypoker.se, a localised version of its poker brand. Swedish players gain access to partypoker’s tournament schedule including The Power Series, Daily Majors and Super Sunday, as well as its Sit & Go Jackpots.

Shay Segev, GVC’s chief operating officer said: “We are confident that Swedish customers will enjoy what we believe is the best and most comprehensive online gaming experience in the market.

“Launching two new labels in such a short space of time after receiving our licence, demonstrates the flexibility of our unique proprietary technology platform.”
