Casino platform and game developer Nolimit City has undergone a year of significant growth, underpinned by a series of crucial integrations and expansions.
As we get set to welcome in a new year in just a few days time, Malcom Mizzi, director of commercial operations at Nolimit, has taken a look back at some highlights from the previous 12 months: “This year has seen Nolimit’s presence in the market increase by leaps and bounds, including a substantial gain in daily transactions thanks to the incredible clients we’ve integrated over the course of 2018 (LeoVegas, Kindred, Betsson, Videoslots,GiG, Mr Green just to name a few) which we feel that each deal, irrespective of the size of the client, is an incredible achievement in itself – having well over 30 key integrations, most of which are direct integrations, with just 12 games is something to boast about.
“Although without a doubt achieving our UK license has definitely been one of the highest points for Nolimit – this has been something we long worked on and has been an increasingly important topic.
“We feel that waiting a bit over year for such an important achievement was totally worth it”
“Everyone knows that if you want to make a real dent in the industry as a reputable supplier, you need to have the UK license in place.”
Announcing the company had secured its UK B2B licence earlier this month, Nolimit has also seen its growth reach India, but how long were these developments in the making and what opportunities do they open up: “It goes without saying that whenever there is a license application, the process is never a quick one and there are several obstacles and challenges to overcome, however we feel that waiting a bit over year for such an important achievement was totally worth it.
“On the other hand, our India setup happened within a few months of taking the decision – it is still an ongoing process, but the investment has been totally worth it so far, and we’re seeing an incredible amount of talent show immense interest to join us there.”
“We have a lot in store for 2019″
With such a vast number of targets hit throughout 2018, Mizzi stresses that no one is ready to rest on their laurels and that momentum is to definitely carry through to next year and beyond: “We’ll be a familiar name in the gambling community and daily casual gamers. Our plan is to double our release of games and increase the tempo. More exciting things to come, but one thing is for sure, Nolimit will be continuing its expansion across multiple regulated markets and will continue to build increasingly important partnerships – we have a lot in store for 2019, and we cannot wait to see our games being enjoyed by more players.”
One crucial development is to be debuted on the very first day of 2019, as the re-regulated Swedish market comes into force, Mizzi added that the Scandinavian country is to become an important target for Nolimit: “Nolimit will be one of the key names in the industry in the coming year across Sweden, this is a core mantra held dear to us and we aim high whenever it comes to entering any market.
“Given that Nolimit has strong ties in the country and we operate our Swedish subsidiary where most of our technical development is done, we are doing everything within our power to ensure Nolimit City games are live with our key partners on day one.”
“We thrive on being different and doing things our way”
Continuing to have slight glances ahead to next year, and operations within such a saturated global environment, Mizzi concluded by stating what stands Nolimit out from the crowd, and just why its offering are above and beyond that of competitors: “What’s key is being honest and always delivering quality. The truth of the matter is, there is an abundance of great content out there – no one denies that, especially us. But we thrive on being different and doing things our way, whilst always being fair and honest by holding our ground when it comes to our true values.
“In the coming years Nolimit will not only be known for great content, but will also hold some of the best reactivation tools in the industry that will make us stand out and shine. More on this to come soon.”
