Betting and gaming operator group GVC Holdings has confirmed that non-executive director Karl Diacono has stepped down from the board after 10 years.

GVC chairman Lee Feldman said: “On behalf of all my GVC colleagues, I would like to thank Karl for his service and contribution over the last decade.

“He’s been with us through an exciting corporate journey and he will be missed. The board wishes him well for the future.”

Diacono is also a director of a number of Maltese subsidiaries of the GVC Group, to which Fenlex provides certain administrative services.

In a statement, GVC said the board is currently in the process of selecting a new independent non-executive director with an announcement to me made in due course.
