Icy Gems is the new online slot from Microgaming, developed by the studio Just For The Win, the creators of several titles for the organisation, including Reel Talent.

Microgaming promises players plenty of festive cheer in its wintry themed Icy Gems slot, which becomes its ninth exclusive creation by Just For The Win.
Soaking up the festive atmosphere, users collect gems and stack up prizes in the five-reel, 20 payline slot, which is “parcelled with big rewards and thrilling features”.
Icy Gems comes optimised for usage on mobile, “making it easy for players to get into the festive mood this season on landscape or portrait mode”.

Microgaming’s newest offering comes complete with a ‘symbol storage’ mechanic, which becomes activated when a win lands on one or more lines. Once achieved, the winning symbol for each line is added to the symbol storage panel, and a re-spin is awarded.
When three symbols have been collected during the game session, a ‘superspin’ is launched, for an opportunity to win “dazzling rewards”.
During this feature, only the symbols collected in the symbol storage are present on the reels, “enhancing the player’s chance of winning big”.
There are three different levels of superspin that can be found within the game, depending on the varying symbols stored.
The silver level is triggered when three different symbol types are collected during the base game, while two different symbol types will activate the gold round.
The win big superspin can “guarantee great payouts” and is utilised when three symbols of the same type are stored.
