Specialist slot developer Lightning Box is reaping the rewards of a sustained period of expansion, after sealing a stunning new Australian office location, following the doubling of staff numbers within the last 18 months.

As preparations are put in place for next months Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas (8-11 October), the supplier is to take up its new residence in one hundred and twenty square metres “of prime waterfront” in Sydney’s high-demand, and iconic, Darling Harbour.

The Australian suppliers managing director Peter Causley, has stated that the growing team was “enjoying its new surroundings, as it developed innovative slots for both the European online market and North American land-based and social ones”.

Adding: “We saw the benefit of taking on new premises with such great appeal to help with both staff retention and to encourage the best applicants to come forward as we expand even further.

“It’s also perfect for client visits, of course, and really helps with creativity when we are coming up with new game concepts and features.”

Recent moves by Lightbox has seen the release of the five reel slot Astro Pug, boasting a host of well known Asian symbols in addition to a lovable canine hero at the front and centre of the title.

The new game went live with an exclusive debut on Casumo on September 5, and will go on general release to all Lightning Box clients via Quickfire on September 19.

Speaking at the time of the launch Causley explained: “Astro Pug is the latest game for players to get their teeth into and we think it will be a big hit.

“Lightning-Horseman, which we recently released, proved to be immensely popular, and we hope it can follow suit and be another great success for Lightning Box.”

“Lightning Box consistently produces games that players love, and we think this one will continue that trend, hence why we are delighted to be able to offer this game exclusively,” concluded Andreas Vickman, casino business producer at Casumo.
