Danish game developer Spigo has agreed a partnership with betting and gaming operator Bethard, which will see a selection of its titles integrated into the Malta based operators igaming catalogue.

Building upon its established base in the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and a smattering other European markets, Bethard has turned into attention to Denmark as its next strategic expansion target.

Aiming to become “Europe’s leading sportsbook” by optimising its igaming entity, a number of single player and multiplayer games, compatible with desktop and mobile devices, will be integrated, including titles such as Yatzy, Diamonds and Tropicana from the Spigo portfolio.

Caroline Maciel, sales manager at Spigo, commented: “We’re all very excited about our new partnership with Bethard. They’re definitely one of the top dogs in the betting industry in Europe, and we’re delighted that a company like Bethard shows such a strong interest in our casual casino games.

“But above all, they see the potential that casual games have, and their growing importance in the ever-changing online casino games market.”

Bethard themselves have been targeting a period of huge growth, emphasised by a deal struck with global football superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic earlier this year, and are to now utilise Spigo’s casual games and slots to enhance its igaming presence.

Bjørnar Heggernes, casino manager at Bethard, stated: “Spigo has a unique presence in the online games industry which made this an easy decision for us.

“The creativity and quality of their games gives us a better and stronger portfolio for the players to enjoy”

This latest move for Spigo follows a deal agreed with Videoslots earlier this month, which will see its offerings to be made available to customers of both desktop and mobile, enabling them to enjoy a range of features, such as dynamic jackpots, free spins, free games and various unique bonus games.
