PlaySugarHouse doubles down with NJ sportsbook and casino launch

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) operated PlaySugarHouse.com has announced an enhancement of its offering, by becoming “the first gaming operator in the US to launch an integrated online sportsbook and casino”.

Detailing the launch of its new online sports betting entity for residents and visitors of the Garden State, it is detailed that an integration with its already existing online casino has subsequently been undertaken.

SugarHouse online sportsbook and casino is to “offer five million live in-game bet options a year through its mobile apps,” and is hot on the heels of the joint GVC Holdings and MGM Resorts International playMGM mobile sports betting launch earlier this week.

Featuring “a wide variety of bets, competitive odds and a ground-breaking loyalty program that seamlessly merges casino games with sports betting,” players will earn loyalty and bonus points on each single sports and casino wager.

Furthermore, unified player accounts, wallet and bonusing allows players to seamlessly alternate between sports betting and casino play, comprising 450 casino games and live dealer titles.

Richard Schwartz, president of Rush Street Interactive, stated: “Being the first US-based gaming operator to launch a regulated online sportsbook outside of the US has been helpful in establishing the SugarHouse online sportsbook & casino.

“We’ve matured our sportsbook product and validated that players value our proprietary sportsbook loyalty program, including earning points on every single bet.”

Aiming to build on its operating expertise within the regulated Colombian market, RSI, an affiliate of Rush Street Gaming, stresses that it’s “committed to offering players in New Jersey the most bang for their buck”.

RSI’s launch, which sees it become the third operator to do so since the opening of the market, strengthens Kambi’s presence within the market by becoming the firms second customer to launch an online sportsbook  within the state.

Kristian Nylen, Kambi chief executive, commented: “In what is another major milestone for Kambi, I am delighted we have been able to assist Rush Street Interactive in becoming one of the early movers in the online wagering market in New Jersey.

“To be providing our Sportsbook to two of the three online operators currently live in New Jersey is a great achievement, and provides further evidence that Kambi is the trusted sports betting partner for operators wishing to enter regulated markets.”
