Gaming operator group GVC Holdings has added slots from Greentube, the Novomatic Interactive division, to its Italy-facing casino selection on bwin.it.

Greentube signed a content deal with GVC in February last year, since which time the partnership has gone from strength to strength and has now been extended to the Italian
market.

Titles available to bwin’s Italian players include Novomatic hits Book of Ra deluxe, Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe and Sizzling Hot deluxe, as well as popular titles such as Apollo God of the Sun, Faust and Golden Sevens.

Developed across Greentube’s SDK and Open Platform Solutions, the company’s growing game selection comes from both its in-house studios and third-party providers, and is
offered to B2B partners via the Novo Remote Gaming System platform.

Michael Bauer, chief financial officer and chief games officer at Greentube, said: “We are thrilled to announce our first customer in Italy by expanding our partnership with GVC.

“Our games are particularly strong in the Italian land-based market and we are therefore very happy to open our portfolio to Italian customers online.”

Liron Snir, GVC’s chief product officer, added: “We are continuously looking to improve our
customer offer in regulated markets around the world. Novomatic’s games portfolio has already provided a big hit with our customers in other international markets and it’s exciting that our Italian customers will now get to enjoy them too.”

COMMENT: This is a big move from a major player in the European gaming sector. There are few bigger than Novomatic and it is about time the giant was active in Italy’s burgeoning online casino segment. GVC is the perfect partner.
