KamaGames has unveiled a duo of updates to its flagship Pokerist title, designed to further drive the global of expansion of its 530,000 daily users.

Via Multi Table Tournaments (MTT), which KamaGames states is more suited towards experienced, committed and high level participants, a plethora of tables are slowly whittled down as tournaments progress until one champion is left.

Affording players the opportunity to scoop up to twenty times their initial buy-in, MTT’s, which follow traditional poker mechanics, have proved popular with real money online poker rooms but “have not appeared in a social casino title until now.”

KamaGames has also detailed results of a soft launch of its MTT function, which found that:

  •  During MTT’s 2 week soft launch period, we saw the number of concurrent players online increase by 17%
  •  MTT has proven to have game mechanics suitable to mobile devices. This has been shown via the average number of players reaching 400 with a playing duration of between 20-25 minutes per tournament
  •  Our current game mechanics featured in Boost Poker and our various Party Modes assume that players could take risks and go all-in at the beginning of each round, however, results show that MTT is completely different in nature. Players take their time and choose a more strategic approach to get to the final table and potentially win the tournament. This adds a completely new type of play to our existing portfolio

The European social mobile poker operator has also launched Split Bet Poker into its Pokerist app, played with three player cards and two community cards.

Allowing players to scale back their bets in the middle of deal, payouts on this new offering can reach as much as 1000:1.

Andrey Kuznetsov, CEO of KamaGames, said: “We have made an ongoing commitment to our players to continue to innovate through a variety of game formats and playing experiences and these two launches are a great example of that.

“Having over 530,000 Daily Active Users means there are host of different kinds of players who enjoy our games. This means that as an operator, we need to offer them a wide variety of tournaments, games and different ways to play allowing every player to choose the content that suits them and their playing style”.
