The fifth Category 4 casino licence auction in the US state of Pennsylvania, which was scheduled to take place yesterday, will now be held on Friday, March 9.

The initial auction was postponed after winter storms closed the state capitol and other government buildings in Harrisburg on Tuesday, March 6.

Many buildings remain closed today, March 7, however the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has confirmed that the rescheduled auction will take place at 10am on Friday, March 9.

The auction will be held in the board’s Public Hearing Room, on the second floor of the Strawberry Square building in Harrisburg.

The auction will also be streamed live from the board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov.
