Betsoft Gaming has confirmed the release of the much-anticipated sequel slot SugarPop 2: Double Dipped
The 7×7-grid videoslot offers two new cluster mechanics including a Candy Wild that appears on the board when a cluster of five or more is exploded, and a Candy Bomb that is created when five or more clusters are exploded in a single spin.
Additional features include a Chocolate Surprise Egg, a Jelly Bean Cannon and Sweet Hammer, along with a Chewy Caramel and Morphing Golden Wild.
“SugarPop 2 is a bright, fun, sequel we really enjoyed developing,” said Dan Cooper, Betsoft’s head of product development.
“The original was far more successful than any of us could have imagined. We wanted to stay true to the original game and add another layer of engagement to this game. Player and distributor feedback was taken on board to help us offer something new and improved, yet familiar to players of the original.”
Utilising the proprietary Shift platform, SugarPop 2 allows players to level up using the new “trail system”, first introduced in Betsoft’s recent hit Legend of the Nile.
