Online casino operator BGO has appointed Andrew Bentley to the position of CEO.

Bentley confirmed via social media that in March he would be leaving his position as operations director of interactive at Genting Casinos UK following nine years with the company. He will takes the reins at BGO in April.

In a LinkedIn post, he wrote: “After a very enjoyable nine years at Genting, I have taken the decision to leave the business in March.

“I have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic people and wish them all every success in the future. I will join BGO as CEO in April and look forward to this exciting role and fresh challenge.”

Bentley’s roles in his time at Genting included head of gaming and head of casino, both for Genting Alderney. Prior to that he spent around four years at Ladbrokes, rising to the position of online marketing manager for affiliates via the operator’s graduate programme.
