888 Holdings has deepened its US roots, in addition to enhancing its relationship with Caesars Entertainment, as the firm expands into the New Jersey sports betting space.

Launched alongside Kambi, 888’s sportsbook provider across global regulated markets, its 888sport entity builds on a number of US launches which has seen the company extend its inter-state poker capabilities to encompass New Jersey as well as Nevada and Delaware, launch in excess of 200 new games to its Garden State’s casino offering and also introduce live dealer casino titles.

To help spearhead the organisation’s continued expansion strategies across the United States, Yaniv Sherman, 888’s senior vice president and head of commercial development, has relocated to the company’s New Jersey office from this month.

Itai Frieberger, chief executive officer of 888, commented: “The launch of 888sport.com in New Jersey is a major milestone for the company in our ongoing expansion across the regulated US online gaming market, and provides 888 with a unique and truly multi-product proposition, in what is currently the largest regulated US state.

“888 has been committed to developing its position in the US since launching in Nevada, the first regulated US state, nearly six years ago and today we are the only operator with a presence in all three regulated US states.

“We now have our sport, casino and poker products all operational in the US, and are continually developing our proposition, brands and technology to ensure that the group remains exceptionally well positioned to capture the potentially significant future growth opportunities as new regulation allows.”

Complementing its existing 888casino and 888poker brands already established within the state, 888’s recent live dealer casino launch builds on its existing relationship with Evolution Gaming.

Embracing a selection of titles available as part of the extended partnership, the games, which see dealers streamed in real-time from secure casino facilities, can be enjoyed by players across PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
