Online casino DrückGlück is to sponsor hit German TV shows Celebrity Big Brother and Global Gladiators as part of €35m marketing drive

The Schleswig-Holstein licensed casino brand, which is powered by the SkillOnNet platform, is a significant TV advertiser in Germany.

The new autumn campaigns see the operator increase its offline marketing spend to €35m with the adverts to be broadcast on channels Sat 1 and Pro 7 for Celebrity Big Brother and Global Gladiators respectively, and both in the prime-time 8:15pm slot.

Michael Golembo at DrückGlück, said: “We are one of the largest offline advertisers in Germany with TV, city buses and live shows to engage with our players.

“The deals to sponsor Celebrity Big Brother and Global Gladiators will help strengthen our position as the undisputed market leader and our target to make DrückGlück a household name.

“Both shows boast millions of viewers each week. We believe there is tremendous affinity between these audiences and the player demographic that is attracted to DrückGlück. We expect to see a significant uptick in new player sign-ups once the ads are broadcast.”

DrückGlück is the largest converting online casino in Germany offering 1,250-plus slots from major suppliers such as Merkur, Play’n Go and Microgaming, as well as localised payment options and customer support.

DrückGlück recently signed a deal to become the official sponsor of second-tier Bundesliga team Holstein Kiel, with a range of advertising options with the club.
