The 18th annual Gaming Laboratories International Regulators Roundtable will take place at Luxor Las Vegas on March 7/8, with new and emerging technologies the leading topics of discussion.

The event, presented by GLI University, will boost attendees’ understanding of new and emerging technologies through a combination of panel discussions, live presentations, breakout sessions and hands-on demonstrations.

“Both technology and consumer behaviour in the broader entertainment industry are evolving at a breakneck pace,” said GLI president and CEO James Maida.

“That means the gaming industry must also evolve to remain competitive against other entertainment offerings. This is why we produce the Roundtable – to shine a bright spotlight on technological trends so that regulators across North America can be as informed and prepared as possible for the industry of tomorrow.”

Topics will include advanced game concepts, blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity issues, gaming legislation, skill-based gaming, sports betting and wagering, and technical standards development. The keynote address will be delivered by Vegas Golden Knights president Kerry Bubolz

In addition to discussions on the main stage, the Roundtable will feature breakout sessions while, returning for a second year, the Innovation Room will again be a mini-lab for up-close and hands-on demonstrations.
