The European Casino Association has agreed a new partnership with C6, a provider of global risk intelligence tools and systems to the land-based casino industry.

The ECA represents the land-based casino community, with a focus on events, networking and driving co-operation.

Per Jaldung, chairman of the ECA, said: “We are delighted to see C6 join as our first partner in the area of risk management tools and systems.

“Money laundering is a key issue for the licensed land-based casino industry, which is seriously tackled by our casinos, leading us to very much look forward to a positive exchange on this key issue with our newest partner.”

Fiona Davies, head of gaming at C6, added: “We are extremely proud to be the risk/AML provider partnered to the ECA.

“C6 has been working alongside the heavily regulated UK land-based casinos along with the global elite for over 10 years and have a range of solutions that match different player types.

“Our aim is to help meet regulations while supporting play, reducing risk exposure along with delivering a focused cost-effective end-to-end AML solution to help casinos work towards keeping the proceeds of crime out of gaming,” said Davies.

“Through this partnership we aim to help casinos across Europe adapt to the continued pressures of regulatory scrutiny around AML along with meeting responsible gaming guidelines.

“Myself and the C6 team are very much looking forward to meeting and working with all members over the years ahead.”
